HORSE SAFARI

Delhi – Jodhpur – Ranakpur – Kotri – Hemawas – Rohet – Kharwa – Pushkar – Jaipur – Agra – Delhi - (12 Nights)

 

Day 01 ARRIVAL: Reception and welcome at Delhi airport followed by transfer to your hotel.

 

Day 02 DELHI ~ JODHPUR: Fly from Delhi to Jodhpur where you will stay overnight.

 

Day 03 JODHPUR ~RANAKKPUR: After breakfast drive to Ranakpur from Jodhpur.  Get to know the horses.

 

Day 04 RANAKPUR ~ KOTRI: After an early breakfast, leave on horseback for the village of Kotri, stopping en route for lunch at the Marwari stud farm at Barkana. After lunch carry on to Kotri where you camp or stay at the castle.

 

Day 05 KOTRI ~ HEMAWAS: Ride out to Hemawas after breakfast, passing through many small village settlements. Your overnight camp is pitched on the banks of a tranquil, picturesque lake. Relax and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

 

Day 06 HEMAWAS ~ ROHET ~ KHARWA: After breakfast ride to Rohet. Spend the evening watching cultural musical show.  Overnight stay at the fort.

 

Day 07 ROHET ~ KHARWA: The destination for the day is Kharwa, known for tomato cultivation. It also boasts of a large artificial lake and an enchanting fort. Overnight stay at the fort or tents.

 

Day 08 KHARWA ~ PUSHKAR: The safari concludes at Pushkar where you stay overnight.

 

Day 09 PUSHKAR ~ JAIPUR: Drive to Jaipur in the morning.  Check in at your hotel and refresh yourself before taking a sightseeing tour of the city.

 

Day 10 JAIPUR: Take an elephant ride up to Amber Fort in the morning.  The afternoon is at leisure, to explore the bazaars in town or relax.

 

Day 11 JAIPUR~ AGRA: Stop at the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri en route to Agra.  The Taj Mahal and other exquisite monuments of Agtra await sightseeing in the afternoon.

 

Day 12 AGRA ~ DLEHI: Leave for Delhi after a leisurely breakfast.  The afternoon is at leisure, for last minute shopping and sightseeing.

 

Day 13 DEPARTURE: transfer to the airport in time for your flight out.
