DELHI-AGRA-GWALIOR-BHOPAL-SANCHI-MAHESHWAR-MANDU-MUMBAI  (10 Nights)

 

Day 01 ARRIVAL: Reception and welcome at Delhi airport followed by transfer to your hotel.

 

Day 02 DELHI:Take it easy in the morning before setting out to tour New Delhi in the afternoon.

 

Day 03 DELHI: Explore Old Delhi, Shahjahanabad, the Mughals made their capital after leaving Agra, which is still a vital, throbbing city of distinctive character.

 

Day 04 DELHI – AGRA: The express train to Agra leaves at dawn. Check in to your hotel and refresh yourself, before leaving to see the Taj, Agra Fort and other monuments in Agra. Return to see the Taj at sunset.

 

Day 05 AGRA – GWALIOR: An early start will get you to Gwalior in time to spend the afternoon sightseeing.

 

Day 06 GWALIOR – BHOPAL: A convenient morning train to Bhopal leaves the afternoon free for sightseeing.

 

Day 07 BHOPAL: From Bhopal it is a day’s excursion to the paleolithic Bhimbhetka caves and the temple at Bhojpur.

 

Day 08 BHOPAL – INDORE- MAHESHWAR: Another day’s excursion to Sanchi, after which you take the flight to Indore and drive on to Maheshwar.

 

Day 09 MAHESHWAR: From Maheshwar, it’s full day excursion to Mandu.

 

Day 10 MAHESHWAR- INDORE –MUMBAI: Your flight to Mumbai is in the evening.

 

Day 11 DEPARTURE: The morning is free to see preferred sights in the city – the Gateway of India, for instance, or the Prince of Wales Museum.  Transfer to the airport in time for your flight out.
